1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the public BacktestPrime website and its publicly available historical research pages.

It does not apply to private internal trading, broker-integration or account-management systems that are not made available as public website services.

2. Current Public Data-Collection Model

At the present stage, BacktestPrime does not require public users to register, create an account, subscribe to a newsletter or submit personal information in order to access public historical research.

The public website is intentionally being designed to collect as little personal data as reasonably necessary.

3. Technical Server Information

Like most websites, hosting infrastructure or security systems may automatically process limited technical information when a user accesses the website.

This may include information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, response status and security-related logs.

Such technical information should be used only for legitimate operational purposes such as website delivery, reliability, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and security.

4. Cookies

BacktestPrime does not currently intend to use advertising, profiling or behavioral-tracking cookies on the initial public research website.

If cookies or similar technologies are introduced in the future, this Policy and any required notice or consent mechanism will be updated before such functionality is made publicly active.

5. Analytics

Third-party analytics are not part of the initial public launch unless expressly identified on the website.

If analytics are added later, BacktestPrime will review the information collected, purpose, retention period, third-party involvement and applicable notice or consent requirements before enabling them.

6. Advertising

The initial public research website does not rely on personalized advertising or advertising-based user profiling.

If advertising services are introduced later, the privacy and regulatory implications will be reviewed before deployment, and this Privacy Policy will be updated where required.

7. Contact Forms, Accounts and Subscriptions

If BacktestPrime later introduces contact forms, user accounts, subscriptions, saved backtests, paid services or newsletters, additional personal data may need to be processed.

Such features will not be treated as covered by this minimal-data model without first updating the relevant privacy notice, data-handling process and applicable user controls.

8. Purpose Limitation

Personal data, if processed, should be used only for clear and lawful purposes associated with the operation, security or explicitly requested services of BacktestPrime.

BacktestPrime does not intend to collect personal data merely because it may become useful at a later date.

Technical or personal information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant operational, security, legal or service purpose.

Specific retention periods may be introduced for particular features when those features are launched.

Public website infrastructure is intended to remain separated from private broker credentials, private trading controls and non-public account information.

Hosting providers, infrastructure services or other technical vendors may process limited data where necessary to operate the website.

Before introducing additional third-party services that process personal data, BacktestPrime will review their role and applicable privacy requirements.

12. Children's Data

The public BacktestPrime research website is not designed as a service specifically directed at children.

Features that intentionally process personal data relating to children will not be introduced without first reviewing the applicable legal requirements.

13. User Rights and Requests

Where applicable law provides rights relating to personal data, BacktestPrime intends to provide appropriate mechanisms for valid requests once personal-data-processing features are introduced.

Formal privacy and grievance contact details will be published before public features requiring such processing are commercially launched.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when website functionality, data practices, service providers or applicable legal requirements change.

15. Indian Data-Protection Framework

BacktestPrime intends to develop its public data practices with reference to applicable Indian data-protection requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection framework as its provisions become applicable.
